Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about concrete projects and working with us.
How long does a concrete driveway take?
Most residential driveways pour in one day. Curing takes 7 days before regular use, and the concrete reaches full strength at 28 days.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. We will come out, look at the job, and give you a written quote at no charge and no obligation.
How thick should a driveway be?
Standard residential driveways are 4 inches thick. For heavy trucks or RVs, we recommend 5–6 inches with rebar or wire mesh.
What is the difference between a broom finish and a smooth finish?
A broom finish has light texture for traction — best for driveways and walkways. A smooth finish is flat and polished — better for interiors and decorative work.
Can you pour concrete in the Texas heat?
Yes, with the right precautions. We schedule pours in early morning during summer, use concrete retarders when needed, and keep slabs moist during the cure.
Do you pull permits?
We pull permits when required by the jurisdiction. Many rural and unincorporated county areas do not require permits for residential flatwork. We will advise you on what is needed for your location.
How much does a concrete driveway cost?
Cost depends on square footage, thickness, finish, and site conditions. Request a free quote and we will give you a firm number based on your specific job.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Gordon, TX and serve 20 cities across Palo Pinto, Parker, Tarrant, Hood, Erath, Johnson, Eastland, Stephens, and Hamilton counties.
Still have questions?
We are happy to talk through your project before you commit to anything.
